F.R.I.E.N.D.S Reunion Show

Could we be any more excited? Yes…finally, they’re back! HBO has officially given the go-ahead to the long-rumoured Friends reunion special. It’s been confirmed that all the main actors are set to return to Central Perk. It has been scheduled for May on HBO Max - to help unveil the new streaming service. Can you wait for the reunion?

With the little information that we have, the Friends Reunion special will be an hour-long unscripted show. It will star David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston. Filming will take place at Warner Bros. Studio's Stage 24, where the initial series was filmed. The format of the show is uncertain for the moment and it’s also unknown if the performers will be in character. Intriguing, right?

The salary demands of the actors, as well as fees for the show’s producers Marta Kauffman and David Crane and Kevin Bright will make the Friends reunion a costly affair for just one hour of programming. But with it’s enduring popularity, and new fans gained from reruns and its recent stint on Netflix, HBO will be hoping drives a lot of interest in HBO Max.

While details of the reunion remain top secret, one thing is for certain, everyone is really looking forward to seeing our favourite group of New Yorkers back together again after such a long time. Do you think it will be as successful as the original TV show?
