The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the earth's largest arts festival. It transforms Scotland's capital every year, from 1st - 25th August. There are thousands of performers who take to hundreds of stages all over the city. They present shows of all kinds and cater for every taste.

In 2018, it spanned 25 days and featured more than 55,000 performances from 3,548 different shows. These were all hosted in 317 venues. Supported by the Festival Fringe Society, it publishes the programme and sells tickets for all events. Plus, it offers year-round advice and support to performers.

What makes it fun and special?

  • The Fringe includes anyone in their programme with a tale to tell and a venue willing to host them.
  • Audiences can enjoy children's shows, spoken word, theatre, exhibitions, dance, physical theatre, comedy, opera, cabaret, music, events, circus and musicals.
  • It's an attraction for creative producers, the media and the entertainment industry as a whole. Hence, making it the most dynamic international art market across the globe.

Let’s have a look through the selection of shows! You are sure to find something to catch your eye in Edinburgh this August.

Adrian Tauss and Sasha Ellen: Get a Room (60 Mins)

Adrian Tauss and Sasha Ellen are classy. They have been extremely funny in public and have been told to get a room. Adrian makes kids cry at parties and Sasha can’t stop talking inappropriately. It is a split bill stand-up show about modern life and love.

Alcohol is Good for You – Sam Kissajukian (60 Mins)

The show sold out all 23 Edinburgh dates in 2016-18. And, nominated for Best Comedy at Fringe World 2016. Sam has been crushing stand-up globally. Guess what? This brand new show is more enjoyable than last year's. How about joining Sam for a drink and another hour of non-stop inebriated hilarity?

All-Star Comedy Cabaret (60 Mins)

A remarkable mixed bill variety show! It is packed with the best stand-ups, musical acts, character acts and the most original acts at the Fringe. Presented by Jody Kamali as Fernando, 'The King of Showbiz'.

Angry Boater (60 Mins)

An hour of entertainment, the way you like it… It is now the fifth year; Joel Sanders returns in his wonderful funny voyage from suburbia to chaos. Twists, turns and big laughs from a humourist who spent years working across America with comedy's best…

Circus Sonas Family Show (60 Mins)

Logy and Martin return to the Edinburgh Fringe with their family-friendly show – that is suitable for all ages…

So, ladies and gents, are you attending the Edinburgh festival? A fun-filled experience awaits you all!
